That is why we are part of\u202fBelconnen \u2013 A Village for Every Child<\/a>, an initiative that aims to improve systems across the Belconnen region so children are physically healthy, socially and emotionally strong, and ready to engage in learning and life.
\nThis initiative puts children at the heart of our community, and is based on the belief that every child deserves the best start to life.
\nThe first few years of life are critical to a child\u2019s development. Positive experiences during early childhood (pre-birth to five years) promote strong social, emotional and cognitive development, as well as overall health and wellbeing.As part of the Village initiative, we understand the importance of having services and supports that are easily accessible and available for all children and families when they need them.
